Dwarakaithalaivan is a poet living in Chennai.He is a mechanical engineer by profession.His poems and essays have got wide recognition.According to critics he is a poet with very unique thoughts.He writes both in English and Tamil.He has been writting his poems for the past ten years in literary magazines.His first collection of modern and post modern poems in Tamil PEENGANILLAIARUVI [Porcelain Falls] was released in the year 2007 in Chennai by the famous Tamil poet and critic Indhiran.He consideres the
book as the best collection of surrealistic poems published in recent times.Many leading magazines ,dailies and TV channels have given good criticism of the book.Dwarakaithalaivan"s interviews on his book and on modern and post modern poems in TV channels are quite absorbing.He is the editor of two literary e-magazines ELLANTHIRAI and RESONANCE.His english poems are appearing regularly in Muse India literary e-journal.
